Love of the prophet, The Holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW)
I seek refuge with the almighty Allah (SWT) from Satan, the rejected. In the name of Allah (SWT), the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful, I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah (SWT) and I bear witness that Muhammad (SWA) is His slave and His Messenger.
It was reported that there was a man who was unmindful and negligent about durood (sending prayers on the prophet, pbuh). The man saw the Prophet (PBUH) in his dream and the Prophet (PBUH) was inattentive to him. The man asked, O the messenger of Allah, are you angry with me? The prophet (PBUH) answered no and the man went on but why did you not look at me nor pay attention to me? The Prophet responded that because I did not know you. The man exclaimed, how do you mean you do not know me when I was one of your ummah (follows) and the scholars reported that you, the Prophet knows the members of your ummah even more than a mother’s knowledge of her child?
The Prophet (PBUH) responded that the scholars are right but you don’t pray for me, “I know every member of my ummah according to their level durood on me”. The man woke up and made it compulsory on himself to invoke prayers on the Prophet (PBUH) hundred times. He did it repeatedly and later saw the Prophet (PBUH) again in his dreams and the Prophet (PBUH) told him, I now know you and would intercede for you because you have become on the Prophet lovers.
